Banteay Kdei

Middle of 12th century to beginning of 13th century

King: Jayavarman VII   Religion: Buddhist

Our last stop before lunch was Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist temple. Again, it is
unrestored and in a state of lovely ruin. The atmosphere was quiet, and we
enjoyed admiring the carvings without many people about. I find I like the
unrestored temples. They feel full of spirits. -Kathie
